Championships

History of the Powerbomb Ringside Championship     On June 18, 2005 in Riverside, Rhode Island, in a gauntlet match, Maniac Mike defeated Drew Cordeiro to become the first ever Powerbomb Ringside Champion.  Interesting as they would go on to become the owners of the American Wrestling Leage (Mike) and Beyond Wrestling (Drew).   At the USWF (United States Wrestling Federation) event, Valor verses Discretion, Mike gave the belt to his cousin, Delicious Danny, on March 2011. This was in Woonsocket, RI.   A week later the belt was returned to Maniac Mike.   At the AWL event, Legend Cade IV: Pawtucket Pandemonium in Pawtucket, RI, in a Title vs. Mask match, DarkXsane (formerly known as Dark Predator) defeated Maniac Mike in July 2019.   On June of 2022, Maniac Mike regained the championship in a Puma Rumble. This was in Woonsocket, RI.  This was a part of AWL Star Night.      Then on August 13, 2023, on the event known as, The Double McGuffin. Sycho Nix defeated Maniac Mike for the championship.  Next, we have the first ever AWL (American Wrestling League) SuperBowl event,  AWL Combat Escapade, there was a title vs. career match.  In Woonsocket, RI on Sunday, September 8, 2024, it was Sycho Nix (champion) vs. Maniac Mike (career). In this Townies Rules Match, Mike regained the championship.
